Kickstarting his career in Queensland Parliament in 2009, The Honourable Andrew Powell MP is the Member for Glass House and is dedicated to delivering the best results to the Sunshine Coast and Moreton Bay regions.  Recognised for his commitment to fighting for families, farmers and small businesses, he has worked tirelessly as a Member of Parliament to deliver for local communities. Andrew also now serves as the Minister for the Environment and Tourism as well as the Minister for Science and Innovation.  Leading by example, he uses his education in Science and the Arts – including extensive studies in riparian geomorphology and remote sensing – to ensure the State’s natural landscapes are improved for future generations to visit, enjoy and conserve.
