By 1990, some anadromous (ocean migrating) fish and terrestrial forest dependent species were becoming endangered in the Siuslaw River Basin. The Siuslaw River Basin partners have been working cooperatively for more than 26 years to restore the basin’s natural functions, wildlife populations and economic activities.
