Lord Mayor of Brisbane
Adrian Schrinner has been a Councillor since 2005, representing the Chandler Ward. He served as Deputy Mayor for eight years before becoming Lord Mayor. During his tenure, he has overseen significant infrastructure projects such as the $1.5 billion Legacy Way Tunnel and the Brisbane Metro project. Schrinner is known for his focus on improving public transport, enhancing green spaces, and supporting local businesses. He is also an advocate for sustainable urban development and has been involved in various community initiatives aimed at making Brisbane a more livable city.
