18th International River Symposium
The 2015 International River Symposium, held in Brisbane, highlighted the theme “Healthy Rivers – Healthy Economies,” emphasising the intrinsic link between the health of river systems and economic prosperity. The symposium showcased how investing in river restoration and sustainable management can lead to tangible economic benefits, such as improved fisheries, tourism, and water security.
