There are now more than 60 finalists and 10 international winners who have demonstrated their ability and commitment to restoring and protecting rivers. The International Thiess Riverprize was inaugurally funded by Thiess Pty Ltd.
"Winning the Thiess International Riverprize has been a great boost to our program. The prize money, along with our grand champion endowment fund, is the reason we can provide community conservation grants to numerous groups within our watershed each year.’"
