River systems provide vital services to all of humanity including those fundamental to life - the supply of water and food. Increasingly these services are under threat. The IRF is directly involved in supporting the restoration of river systems and the sustainable management of them for humans and the environment.

By 2015, we aim to secure AU $30 million dollars to achieve our mission. There are a number of ways for you to join us in our quest to save the world’s rivers and become a driving force for river restoration. Our ongoing work, including the twinning projects, offers valuable returns to our partners, be they corporate, government or philanthropic.
