We work in partnership with a number of organisations who share the same vision and help us achieving our mandate. We sincerely thank our partners for their ongoing commitment.
In our partnership with the International Riversymposium we share the same vision and support each other’s aims to progress the protection and restoration of rivers across the world. In that key partnership with Riverfestival we share the delivery of the Thiess Riverprize and the Sponsored Delegates Program.
International Riversymposium is part of Riverfestival, an initiative of Brisbane City Council and the Queensland State Government.
One of our key partners is the International WaterCentre, co-located in the same office in Brisbane. Based on a shared vision of protecting the world’s waterways, IWC works closely with us to share knowledge and support twinning projects by providing technical input.
A new alliance with Engineers Without Borders, Australia, was formed based on a shared vision of building capacity for people in ‘Least Developed Countries’. EWB provided us with volunteer support during International Riversymposium & Environmental Flows Conference (3 – 6 September 2007).
