What is the Affiliates Program?

International Riverfoundation's Affiliate program will unite International Riverfoundation with other river and water-related not-for-profit organsations to create a global network of river restoration organisations. The purpose of the Affiliates Program is to increase the sharing of knowledge and promote best practice in river management across the world.

Why Should I Become an Affiliate?

By becoming an Internaitonal Riverfoundation Affiliate, you can improve your organisation's profile through local, national and global networks and receive exclusive invitations and discounts to International Riverfoundation events.

What do Affiliates have to do?

The Affiliate organisation agress to undertake the following Affiliate requirements:

1. Support IRF's mission and its goals of sharing river restoration 'best practice' knowledge and experience. The IRF mission is to drive the restoration, protection and sustainable management of rivers around the world.

2. Encourage members, partners and networks of the Affiliate organisation where appropriate to:

apply for the Thiess International or Australian Riverprizes
apply to attend International Riversymposium as a sponsored delegate and suggest potential funding bodies for delegates' expenses
nominate as a potential twinning recipient
join IRF as an Associate (corporate/individual) or Affiliate
